NBA Conference FinalsTop 10 Players (Sports)

The list of the 10 best players in the final four teams left in the 2024 NBA Playoffs. This is not a ranking of who has had the best career or who has the brightest future, it is the best 10 players right now.

  1. Luka Doncic

When Luka isn’t yelling at the refs he is one of the most pure offensive basketball players in the game today, maybe of all time. At his best he can carry the Mavs to the finals and win the dang thing.

  1. Jayson Tatum

Taum is not only an elite level scorer but plays defense and crashes the boards. For some reason he is penalized for consistently making playoff runs and being on the best teams. Just a reminder he is only 26 years old still.

  1. Anthony Edwards

Yes, he may be the up and coming face of the league because of his personality but his defense and midrange shot are special. Even better, not only does he welcome the moment but he attacks the moment.

  1. Kyrie Irving

Kyrie might be my favorite person to watch play basketball, like ever. He is one of the most skilled players of all time and seems to have taken the role of leader of this Mavs team.

  1. Jaylen Brown

Jaylon Brown might not be better than Tatum but he is starting to look like the alpha this team needs and despite his much criticized dribbling skills he is scoring at a high level. Oh yeah and like Tatum he keeps on winning.

  1. Tyrese Haliburton

Haliburton has come a long way since his game 5 no show vs the Knicks and he is doing big things as a playmaker for the Pacers while he is clearly not 100%. He may be a bit overrated in the media right now but the dude deserves credit for leading his young team this far.

  1. Pascal Siakam

In classic Toronto and Indianplois fashion Siakam falls under the radar. However he has been a pivotal offensive and defensive player for the Pacers and make no mistake the Pacers wouldn’t have made it this far without them.

  1. Rudy Gobert

Gobert is always gonna be made fun of no matter how good he plays. But let’s give him his flowers. He is the defensive player of the year who unquestionably impacts the game immensely on the side of the court.

  1. Jrue Holiday

Every team would kill to have a guy like Jrue Holiday on their team. He is a winning player who plays hard, plays great defense, and seems to care more about winning than his numbers.

  1. Kristaps Porzingis

If he can stay healthy he is a disrupting defensive and offensive presence and makes the Celtics nearly unbeatable. That’s the key hesitation, “if he can stay healthy.” I still think he is better than KAT though.

Every Projected Week 1 Starting Quarterback Ranked (Sports)

The NFL season is here, today! So it’s time for my ranking. This is a ranking of each teams projected starting quarterback combining two factors. One being their performance leading up to this season in their respective career but most importantly the other being how well I think they are going to play going into the 2024-2025 season. 32. Daniel Jones  This is less of a statement on Jones and more on the team and organization around him. 31. Jacoby Brisset  A solid backup option that’s just holding time for Drake Maye and the rest of the young core. 30. Bo Nix  Maybe he is the next Drew Brees or maybe we should just let him be Bo Nix, a rookie coached by Sean Payton. 29. Gardner Minshew  This screams a 9-8 ceiling but he definitely brings that Raider mentality so I might be underestimating him. 28. Jayden Daniels   Very easily could be in the mid-low teens in no time but the Commanders need him to be special to erase the ...

Forgotten: Chuck Noll (Sports)

In 2014, Chuck Noll was mentioned in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. It was the year of his death with the issue coming out as a beautiful homage to the late coach. Or, to be more precise, it would have been a beautiful homage if his name hadn’t been spelled wrong. How was it possible that someone who built a legacy and transformed Pittsburgh's athletic identity could become overlooked almost immediately? Forgotten by the wider public, perhaps his work didn’t stand the test of time when flashier football coaches with larger personalities came onto the football scene. He wasn’t one for flashiness, wasn’t even one for high fiving his players on the sidelines of a game when they made a good play. Chuck Noll, however, led the Steelers to win Super Bowl IX, X, XIII, and XIV. He won four championships in just six years and made complete legends out of his players.   Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers had watched Chuck Noll lead them to victor...
